Difficult Language
School-specific expressions, long texts, and complex handout rules are hard to understand.
School Support for Foreign Parents and Supporters
School Letter Helper is a support app for foreign parents that organizes difficult school communications into easy Japanese, native translations, deadlines, items to bring, and reply templates.
We do not recommend entering child names, school names, or addresses in the beta version.
Please submit the participation consent form to the homeroom teacher by June 12. On the day, please bring a water bottle and a hat for heatstroke prevention, and prepare rain gear in case of rain.
Problems
School-specific expressions, long texts, and complex handout rules are hard to understand.
Submission dates, payments, items to bring, and reply deadlines are buried in the text.
It is difficult to think of polite, concise, and accurate Japanese to reply to teachers.
Features
Condenses important details so you can quickly see what needs to be done.
Allows parents who feel anxious with only Japanese to check the content in their native language.
Extracts dates, preparation items, payments, and required replies into a to-do list.
Generates natural Japanese templates for absences, confirmations, consultations, and participation notices.
How it works
Target Users
For those who want to check school notices in their native language and understand what to do.
For those who want to make school support for multiple families clearer and more efficient.
For those who want to reduce the burden of explanation and communication support for parents.
